Tulip Time had come to an end, but my daughters still wanted to do a special shoot in front of the tulips for their grandmother. Luckily for us, the weather stayed cool enough to keep the tulips around for several weeks, even the week after the festival was over. We headed downtown to the tulip fields and spent about 25 minutes shooting in front of our remaining favorites.
Yellow is their grandmother's favorite color, so we were sure to capture a few of those.
There was a surprising variety left to choose from, so each of the girls were able to get their favorites too. Ember liked the dark purple and Ash loved the pink and peach.
The city even left out a giant wooden shoe from the festival. The girls were so excited to pose sitting on top of it. Grandma loved all of her photos too!
