My client was coming into town for Tulip Time for her sixth anniversary and wanted a quick shoot. They couldn't arrive until around five o'clock on Friday, which would be the busiest time near the tulips. We decided to stay away from the busy town and meet at a park in Zeeland.
Lighting was ideal for this park since a tall row of trees lined the edge behind the baseball fields. The foliage created a nicely back-lit backdrop and provided shade.
Our focus was to capture a variety of cute shots while keeping it fun and lite. We had fun talking about their plans for the weekend during the shoot. When it came to posing, laughter definitely took the awkwardness out of each pose.
